Kick Depression

"A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices."  William James, 1842-1910
In the old days
everything spoke to the Dineh:
The rocks, the grass, the trees
They all taught us.

The Dineh have gotten so busy
that the rocks, the grass and
the trees don’t speak anymore.

Or maybe the people
have just forgotten how
to listen.
